What is Pulsing Cinema?

A collective of shows produced by John R. Hand featuring inventive hosts and insightful interviews which serve as a living, pulsing dialogue on the world of film. Pulsing cinema began as a small movie review website in 1996. Audio broadcasts began as a single show in 2005 and eventually gained a strong following among unusual film fans. In 2007 it was featured in Rue Morgue’s special feature on Horror Podcasts. In it’s current incarnation, Pulsing Cinema encompases all genres and styles of motion picture arts.

John R. Hand has always been obsessed with all aspects of film – watching it, making it, perhaps smelling it. In 2006 he wrote, produced, directed and starred in Frankensteins Bloody Nightmare and in 2008 he wrote, produced and directed Scars of Youth. He continues to eat, sleep and dream film.
